This is my 100 word challenge. The prompt was …so, what lies ahead of… Run. A blur of greens and browns passed me as I ran. Run. It was life or death, and we chose life. Run. I stopped, dead in my tracks. The puny sticks under my feet crunched under my weight. Lost in thought, I could hear a faint ‘keep running Esie,’ It got louder and louder, till I followed the instructions. Run. The light peeping in from the foliage above was limited, we had to get out of the forest before the darkness fell. So...what lies ahead of us? Reading In 7DM

                                  Reading In 7DM This past few weeks in 7DM, we have been learning about 'The Outside Experience, Managing Self'. We read 3 stories called: Outward Bound , Dear Mum , and The Big Jump! Outward Bound and Dear Mum   were about two people who were recounting about their experience on an Outward Bound. The Big Jump was about Big Daddy (Charlie) being too scared to do the flying fox over his camp. He was supposed to be a tough bully, but really he was quite chicken! I reckon these books are a good motivation for us to try everything at camp and have FUN! Maybe someday I'll be lucky enough to experience an Outward Bound ! The promt was ....as the door slammed, I knew.... As the door slammed, I knew something was off. Me and Wade have a lot of arguments, but he never seemed to get th is vexed about it. My best friend, Wade Fergus, was known for keeping a cool head in stressful situations. I walk over to the glass panel in the door frame, and peer through the smudged glass. What better to see, peering back at me, Wade. I stood back to open the door, and I turned the doorknob, to no avail. I tried again, but still to no avail. Wade frantically said ‘Shanan!’ We both anxiously started pushing the door handle. ‘Wade, Help Me!’ I scream in trepidation. . .
